Today's post is wonky, but algorithmic transparency laws have passed in the EU and are in progress in the US and UK, and we need to make laws meaningfully beneficial by being specific. And wonky.
I'm impressed by your article. You express something more sensible than normally seen, in your rating equation. A breath of fresh air.
Beside an algorithm I suggest there's more:
1. A choice of how many posts I get at a time. Also defined by a meaningful algorithm.
2. A way to not get the same post again, if I so choose.
3. My own lists of sources with preferences for each, if I wish.
